Imprinted Concrete

Imprinted concrete is now seen more and more across Lancashire and Greater Manchester as homeowners look for harder wearing surfaces for their driveways or patios.

When the patio or driveway is first laid it should be sealed properly to protect it from wear and tear and oil stains. The sealant will also help to prevent colour loss and minimise the growth of algae and weeds.

The maintenance and general upkeep for imprinted concrete is much lower than block paving. If the concrete is re-sealed every 3-5 years it should keep looking like new. If this timeframe is not adhered to, the concrete surface will gradually fade, lose colour and start to look untidy.
